There is a translation of Hatha Yoga Pradipika which I studied as a young man as part of my studies of Hatha Yoga by my Guru, Theos Bernard who through yoga, pranayama and meditation became accepted as a Rinpoche, Tibetan Reincarnation when he came to the gates of Tibet.
Through the practise of Hatha Yoga from the age of fourteen and the study of Pranayama and Agnisar Kriya at age 21 and then the study of meditation and Shambhavi Mudra at age 28 I gradually built up the happy power of samadhi within my being and became a healer with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers of Great Britain.
My Guru, Swami Satchidananda said that when he was young he could touch a person and take away their Heart disease or Cancer. But later he found the same people coming back with the same problem. By this he learned that the people had to change themselves, their attitudes, their lives before the disease, a product of all that, could be truly healed.
In reality, Illumination is the final healing required. Although the normal miracle can show what is possible, this should only show the way. So then he started teaching yoga and meditation. Healing came in from the side.
With the addition of Energy Enhancement, came the finish of all the problems associated with Energy Blockages, the bane of every healers life yet at the same time their reason for existence.

I hope you are all well. I'm still working on my meditation and agnisar kriya, which I find helps with my "sour stomach". That is going along fine, it's the meditation that I'm finding a little difficult. Firstly, I need to use a chair with a hard-ish pillow to raise my body a bit. I've tried to use a pile of pillows/blankets/pads and get myself into proper position on the floor but have found that the struggle to get that right isn't what I'm after right now. The chair helps. In fact, the way the pad sits helps with alignment as I feel I'm sitting on a balancing point of sorts. So that is progressing along as well as the breathing technique. There are naturally inconsistencies depending on the day. Some days I actually feel like I'm in a concrete box and insulated from outside energies. Other days not so much but am having a bit of trouble feeling the golden light getting to be "6 inches thick" prior to the internal packing portion before commencing the orbiting phase of the energy movement. I visualized it as snow falling on me and accumulating with some success but haven't seemed to get enough coverage to realistcally feel "packed" enough to begin the circulating motion. I do get distracted/pains/etc. as expected but get in a half hour a day pretty consistently. I sometimes feel like I'm a massive battleship making a slow turn in stormy seas with enemy PT boats hampering my efforts. I know my path is a top down reboot so slow and steady wins the race I suppose. I have had some "psychic visions" or flashes that are informative in a way but I am also careful not to blindly incorporate any of it because I sometimes feel that these "inner voices" need corroboration over time to validate their integrity. The "inner" dialogue and the "outer" dialogue of my internal voicings can be suspect at times, even when apparently sublime.
BTW, I've been meaning to mention that I've enjoyed some of Devi's dance videos. I haven't seen them all yet but the Pink Floyd "Crazy Diamond" was great and Amara's edit of the Om Soul 2 was a leap ahead in production value. Also, the last video (free will, etc.) was almost like it was meant for me! I was actually laughing aloud at the pertinence of it all. I was struck by the analogy of a tornado of spiritual energy bouncing the uninitiated out. So true I feel. And the look on your face when asking for questions and the first one is "where do the blockages come from". That was priceless!
Enough for now - I'll keep at it.
