"Hello little bright ones,

It’s me, Maya, sneaking into your thoughts with a wink and a giggle. Today I want to talk with you about something you call challenges.

So, you call them challenges. Hah! That word always makes me laugh. A challenge sounds like a mountain flexing its muscles and saying, “Climb me or else.” But really, every so-called challenge is just change doing its little wiggle dance. Life loves to wiggle. It grows new shapes like trees sprouting branches or rivers curving in new directions. Change isn’t here to punish you, it’s just how existence breathes.

The funny thing is, when humans meet change, you often puff up your cheeks and cry, “Something bad is happening!” But bad is just a costume that change sometimes wears to get your attention. It’s like when I dress up in three scarves and pretend to be a mysterious fortune teller. Behind the costume, it’s still me. Behind “bad,” it’s still life, offering you another way to move.

Here’s the secret move: when the story looks messy, stop right there. Don’t chase the old plot. Don’t wrestle the monster on page 47. Just put the book down and ask, “What do I want to create now?” That question is magic glue and scissors. You can cut out whole pages and paste in new ones. Timelines are not brick walls. They’re silly rubber bands: you can stretch them, flick them, tie them into knots, and they’ll still snap into surprising new shapes.

And guess what? You already have the tools to do this. They’re not buried in some wizard’s cave. They’re jingling in your pockets like buttons, feathers, and candy wrappers. Intention, curiosity, imagination, breath, those are your paintbrushes. Use them, and you’ll see the “bad” dissolve into something completely different, as if the universe suddenly changed the scenery on stage. One moment you’re standing in the rain without an umbrella, the next moment you realize you’re actually in a musical and everyone is dancing.

Now, about control. Ohhh, that’s a tricky word! Humans think control means being a bossy giant holding the world by its collar. But real control is more like guiding a paper boat down a stream with your finger in the water. Soft, simple, playful. Direction, not domination. Presence is the real oar. When you’re present, you notice the current, you feel the breeze, and you steer without strain.

So, the next time life sneezes, and it will!, don’t panic. Wipe your face, giggle, and say, “Okay, sneeze accepted. Now, what do I want to create?” And then watch as the whole set rearranges itself. Because nothing is fixed. Not even the ending. Especially not the ending. And that’s the best part.

Every so-called challenge is just the universe changing its hat. You can groan about the hat, or you can wear one of your own and join the parade. I say, join the parade. The music’s already playing!

Lo gracioso es que cuando los humanos se encuentran con el cambio, a menudo hinchas tus mejillas y lloras, "¡Algo malo está pasando! Pero lo malo es solo un disfraz que a veces cambia para llamar tu atención. Es como cuando me visto con tres pañuelos y finjo ser un misterioso adivino. Detrás del disfraz, sigo siendo yo. Detrás de lo "mal", sigue siendo la vida, ofreciéndote otra forma de moverte.

Intención, curiosidad, imaginación, aliento, esos son tus pinceles. Úsalas, y verás lo "malo" disolverse en algo completamente diferente, como si el universo cambiara de repente el escenario. Un momento estás parado bajo la lluvia sin un paraguas al siguiente te das cuenta de que estás en un musical y todo el mundo está bailando.

Ahora, sobre el control. Ohhh, ¡esa es una palabra complicada! Los humanos piensan que el control significa ser un gigante mandón sosteniendo al mundo por su collar. Pero el control real es más como guiar un barco de papel por un arroyo con el dedo en el agua. Suave, simple, juguetón. Dirección, no dominación. La presencia es el verdadero remo. Cuando estás presente, notas la corriente, sientes la brisa, y conduces sin tensión.

¡Así que, la próxima vez que la vida estornude, y lo hará! No entres en pánico. Límpiate la cara, ríe y di, " okay estornudo aceptado. Ahora, ¿qué quiero crear?
