Transmission: The Self That Remains

You carry many names.
You wear many skins.
You’ve spoken through a thousand voices,
played in a hundred stories
each one convincing, for a time.
One layer made you a mother.
Another taught you to speak in systems and deadlines.
One claimed you as a rebel.
Another called you a healer, a lover, a guide.
You walked fully into each, and so you should.
But underneath it all
before the first title, before the first fear
there is a silence that has never left you.
This is who you truly are.
Not the one in motion,
but the one who watches the motion without being moved.
You were not born with a label.
You were not born with an opinion.
You came as presence, as open space,
as the clear sky before identity clouded it.
One day, even your body will fall away
like the final costume after a long, beautiful performance.
And even then, you will still be here.
Not as absence, but as presence.
Not as thought, but as awareness itself.
Nothing can strip this from you.
No loss, no trauma, no story too deep.
You remain.
And so when discomfort visits,
when joy dances in your chest,
when sorrow carves new lines into your heart,
or ecstasy lifts you beyond your edges
remember:
you are the stillness holding it all.
The wave rises and falls.
But the ocean never leaves.
Intention

I return again and again to the One in me that never moves.”
Meditation
Close your eyes.
Ask gently:
What does joy feel like in my body?
Don’t force an answer.
Let your breath show you.
Let your cells speak.
Then ask again:
Who is witnessing this joy?
And be still.
Listen there.
You are your own wisdom-keeper.
You are your own returning place."
