World UNITY Week | June 20-27

World UNITY Week | June 20-27
With special sessions, and prayer & meditation ceremony
hosted by UNIFY June 20th & 21st!

Answering the Call
Our opportunity to foster a genuine movement towards global unity has never been greater. Driven by the ecological crises to rebalance our place in nature, and by the urgent need to address global conflicts and injustices, we are called to greater collaborative engagement and “movement-building” across many intersecting areas of work.

Convened by Civil Society
World UNITY Week is convened as a matter of urgency by an extensive number of international civil society organizations. Designed to connect a wide range of significant interactive events occurring across an 8-day period in June, World UNITY Week offers “Open Space” sessions to host critical conversations that lead to practical actions. We come together to collectively shape our common future, build momentum, inspire radical hope and catalyze deep transformation. Key global organizations that are coming together to convene World UNITY Week include: UNIFY, Unity Earth, United Religions Initiative (URI), Parliament of the World’s Religions, the SINE Network, WholeWorld-View, Global Purpose Movement, Good of the Whole, Four Worlds International, We The World, Together in Creation, World Summit, Global Silent Minute, Garden of Light, Source of Synergy Foundation, Compassion Games, May Peace Prevail On Earth International, and many more.

Called by an Extraordinary Moment
The “Global Pause” caused by the pandemic is uniting the world in new ways. Key conversations during World UNITY Week will spotlight such topics as: collective climate action, partnerships for peace, global governance, interfaith harmony, sustainable and regenerative development, the role of business and economics, human rights, disarmament and other key elements of a new kind of future that we want to create.

World UNITY Week is a stop along the road and a “dress-rehearsal” for a large-scale global celebration across Peace Weekend 2020 (September 19-21), centered on the annual U.N. International Day of Peace (September 21).

We look forward to seeing you there!
