Transmission from Maya of Erra, Pleiades
Be yourself
If you enjoy this transmission, please drop a heart.
Oh beloved human,
you really are trying so hard sometimes.
Trying to sound wise, look shiny, pose like a galactic statue, or talk in soft whispers like you're floating in a field of stardust.
Let me tell you a secret:
We don’t do that in Erra.
We burp after fruit smoothies and wear socks that don’t match.
We sing off-key just to see who joins in.
And our hair? It has moods.
So this belief
“I need to be different for people to like me”
is like wearing your spacesuit in the bathtub.
Unnecessary. And a little squeaky.
People don’t fall in love with your performance.
They fall in love with your weird laugh.
The way you wave both hands when you're excited.
The part of you that forgets what you were saying mid-sentence and just giggles.
You, my friend, are magnetic when you forget to try.
Because your real self is ridiculously radiant.
The moment you stop editing, filtering, and fluffing
we see your starlight.
So drop the belief like it's an outdated dance move.
You don’t need to be anyone else.
We like the you who snorts when they laugh.
That’s the one who belongs everywhere.
With joy,
Maya of Erra
